まさかの異動
小和は聖が転勤になったと斉藤に言われた。
何のことか全く分からず固まっていると、斎藤はまずいことをベラベラ話してしまった。
と自覚したとき、ちょうど吉田が会社から出てきたので、吉田と斉藤は食事に向かった。
モヤモヤ
その頃聖は、家で何を作るか考えていた。
カレーが冷凍してあったが、2人分にしては少ないためカレーをドリアにしてみようなんて考えていると、後ろに気配を感じた。
小和が帰ってきたのだ。
買える連絡も来ていないのに、いきなり後ろに立っていたので驚いた聖。
小和は少し怒っているように見えたので、自分が何かしてしまったのかと1人で焦っていると、小和が広島に異動するの？と聞いてきた。
まさか小和からこの話が出ると思っていなかったので驚いた。
でももう断った話だから安心してと伝えたが、聖は納得していないようだった。
何よりこの話を自分からではなく、斎藤から聞いてしまったことにショックを受けていた。
大事なことはきちんと相談しないといけないなと聖は思った。
異動はしないと聖に聞き、安心した小和は一気にお腹が空いた。
2人でご飯を食べいつも通り過ごしていたが、心のどこかでこれでいいの？とモヤモヤしていた。
冷静になれば
小和はベッドに入ると、聖の異動について先程より冷静に考えた。
実際、聖が昔から好きだったゲーム開発の本社は広島にある。
そこに異動って言うことはチャンスなんじゃないかと思った。
聖にとって何が1番良いのか、気がついてしまった小和は聖の部屋に駆け込んだ。
そしてなんで異動の話を断っちゃったのか理由を聞いた。
すると今の生活が充分幸せだからと言ってくれたが、やはり夢を叶えてほしい。
広島に行ったからって、結婚がなくなるわけじゃないしこれは逃してはいけないチャンスだよと聖に伝えた。
小和と離れたくない。
そう聖は言おうとしたがその前に小和が言った。
自分も今やっている仕事を最後までやり切ったら広島に行くと。
そっちで就活をすればいいしと言われ、何でそんな簡単に決められるとかと不思議に思った聖。
でも小和からしたら聖と一緒に過ごすことが当たり前だから、少し冷静になったらすぐに思いついたと笑ってくれた。
異動について結論が出た2人は、朝まで抱き合い、手を繋ぎながら眠りについた。
数日後、正式に広島へ移動の辞令が出たのだった。
