レイコの存在
雪はSPを終えて2位、1位のアンナとは8.48、6分間の練習を終えた雪は、どう？と聞かれ、ループがちょっと不安かなと答える。
心配ないわバッドリハーサルグッドショウよ、と言われた雪は耳にイヤホンをした。
私の血、私の細胞になってしまった音楽、「愛の賛歌」を聞く雪の名前を呼ぶ声。
雪と自分を抱きしめるレイコを思い出して微笑む雪を見て、どしたの？笑ってると言われた。
思い出してたの7年前、この曲で滑る時気持ちがどん底で、逃げ出してしまいたかったの。
その時のコーチが言ったのはピアフは愛する人を失っても失ってもまた失っても愛することをやめなかった人、今苦しみの中にいるあなたが踊れば絶対勝てる、とレイコ。
彼女も苦しかったと思う、こうやって思い出せるのはもう許しているから？と過去を振り返る雪。
暴漢に襲われた雪
顔に液体をかけられた雪が悲鳴を上げ、レイコが誰か中の人呼んできて！と言った。
大丈夫、という雪たちのところに警備員が駆けつけた。
衣装の打ち合わせをしていた雪の母のところにレイコから電話が入り、雪が変態に水をかけられ、テレビ収録をキャンセルして送ると言われた母。
電話を切って、続きをやりましょうと言うが、針が指に刺さったのを見て、お客様が気を利かせて帰った。
タクシーで帰宅した雪は、待っていた母と一緒にマンションに入って行った。
西麻布に向かったレイコは榊のところへ来ていた。
料理を作っていた榊はレイコに呼ばれ、お口にあいましたか？と聞く。
おいしかったです意外に、あなたのことを料理人だってきちんと認識してなかったみたい、一つ聞きたいことがあって、とレイコ。
最近雪とデートした？と聞くとなんで、と榊が聞く。
雪が暴漢に襲われて水をかけられたの、大丈夫よ本人はもう落ち着いてるからと教えるレイコ。
その男が言ってたのよ、嘘つき男と一緒にいたくせにって、ごめんなさいまさかとは思ったんだけど全日本の後3人でいたのを見られたのかもしれない、と話す。
いちいち怯えてもキリがないし君がそんなに憔悴してちゃ雪も不安がる防犯ブザーでも催涙ガスでも持たせて一人で歩けるようにしないとと榊が言うと、分かってない！とテーブルを叩くレイコ。
勝てっこないの！本気出されたらひとたまりもないないの！と怒鳴ったレイコは涙を浮かべる。
守りたいレイコ
誘拐されそうになったことがある12歳の時に学校帰りに車に引きずり込まれそうになって声も出せなくてただ暴れて逃げて学校に戻って助かった、気がついたら身体中傷だらけで爪の中に男の血がこびりついてた、と過去を打ち明けたレイコはごめんなさい変な話してと謝る。
シェフ戻ってきてと言われ、話しにくいこと話してくれてありがとう、と榊。
催涙ガスはいいアイディアだわ、雪を守りたいの、守りたいの、と思うレイコだった。
練習している雪にどうよ？と声をかける吉岡。
まあまあ？と答える雪に回りすぎてない？と聞くとバレた？と笑う。
じっと見つめくる吉岡にだいじょぶと答える雪。
二人の様子を見ている奈々はモヤモヤしていた。
悪質な新聞記事
レイコからの電話で雪がリンクで軽く足を捻って、問題なさそうだけど病院で診てもらってますと電話が来た雪の母。
電話してみます、と雪に電話するが繋がらない。
店を閉め終えた榊のところに、帽子を深く被った雪が立っていた。
どしたの、と聞いた榊は暖かいところへ行こう何か食べる？と聞くといや！と雪。
冷えるしほら風邪を引くと触れようとした榊にいや！誰かに見られたらまた変な噂が立って、と雪。
じゃあここでいい？何？用事？と聞く榊に好き、と告げる雪。
何かあったの、と聞くといつもはぐらかすのは困るから？私のこと子供だと思ってるからでしょと雪。
絡むね、と言われた雪はカチンときて私のこと本気で考えてくれる男の人なんていない、みんな私のこと人だと思ってない、嫌がらせしにくる奴も、大関も会長もパパも！と雪。
帰るね、これ以上聞いても意味ない気がするからと言われた雪はダメ、帰っちゃダメそばにいてくれなきゃやだ！と言った。
落ち着いて居るから、と榊が言うと地面に新聞が落ちて、見出しには北原雪がたどる転落のストーリーと書かれていた。
ぜったいイヤ
ウソだからこれ、と新聞を拾い上げた雪に手を離して、いや、とやりとりをして居るうちに榊がふらついて看板にぶつかり地面に倒れてしまう。
それを見た雪は青ざめてごめんなさい、と何度も謝り続けた。
君が苦しい時に助けるなんてこんな身体でよく言えたもんだ、助けることも守ることもできない、君の居場所で居ることはできない、僕のことはもう忘れてくださいと告げられた。
イヤ、絶対イヤ、と涙をこぼし、榊を抱きしめる雪だった。
